Here is the trailer for Where the Wild Things Are. Enjoi! In honor of this weekend’s Ratatat concert, I hereby present to you this Ratatat MixTape. This movie looks like the greatest adaptation ever. From what I’ve heard, early on there were plenty of complications about the “darkness” with the film (coming from the production company), but more than anything I want Spike Jonze’s version. His version will be best version, that’s all there is to it. From what I’ve read thus far, he made this film based on his view of a child trapped in some sort of reality where you suddenly arrive to an island inhabited with beasts & such. Seriously, who’s really going to see this movie? Think about it. It’s no Finding Nemo. People will take their children only because they have goosebumps, not the kids. The movie adaptation is supposedly accurate in telling the Wild story, and it will be so much better because of it. I doubt it will bring in ludicrous amounts of money beause it’s not like Finding Nemo, but I truly. can. not. wait. I’ve got nothing. Even my photo stuff has sucked. I’m not sure why, but I suspect it’s because I’ve been short on time lately. I put some effort toward creating this website and now I’ve got nothin’ to post…ironic, no? F#*&;! I finished Coraline and am now reading the graphic novel Preacher, which I’ll fly thru cuz’ it’s absolutely repulsive and awesome. So far it’s had vampires, old western dudes, angels, demons, God, sex, drugs, booze and everything in between. Not bad. And Sam Mendes, director of American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead and; Revolutionary Road is signed on to direct the movie adaptation of the graphic novel. You thought Christopher Nolan did well with Batman??? Wait til’ you see this. If everything follows throughu,This movie could turn out amazing. |
