Eat Local, Live Global
Common Ground–”Eat Local, Live Global” is a small-farm job training and development site that launched during the early spring of 2009 in SE Boise.

Common Ground will accomplish the following goals:
- Train and employ as many refugees as soon as possible for long-term, sustainable employment opportunities in a variety of industries.
- Help strengthen our community by providing a platform that connects refugees with the local community and one another (a social network).
- Help Boise become a more sustainable community by increasing the local supply of organic food and marketable products (Boise wants to be ‘the most livable city’ in the country)-we are responding to the demand for more local food.
