Fourth Group of Trainees Graduates

Wow!! We have just finished our fourth training course with a tremendous group of refugees. What a great summer! Just to bring you up-to-date, between our home services training and our four-week job readiness training, more than 40 trainees have gone through our program. To date about half have found employment. In this economy, that’s a good record.
Our wish for every graduate is that this is a major step on the road to financial independence. Every person who goes through our training longs to be totally independent, able to rent (and someday buy) their home, pay the utilities, put food on the table and help others along the way. Our hope is to help them realize that dream.
To our graduates, congratulations! Please come back and visit us at the farm!
Thanks to Danielle Anderson who has taught our trainees for the past eight weeks, and on a completely volunteer basis! We deeply appreciate all Danielle has given to the program and wish her well as she pursues other aspects of her life (like a new baby, her young daughter, moving overseas with her husband, and…Danielle…you’re amazing!).
