Seriously, who’s really going to see this movie? Think about it. It’s no Finding Nemo. People will take their children only because they have goosebumps, not the kids. The movie adaptation is supposedly accurate in telling the Wild story, and it will be so much better because of it. I doubt it will bring in ludicrous amounts of money beause it’s not like Finding Nemo, but I truly. can. not. wait.

I finished Coraline and am now reading the graphic novel Preacher, which I’ll fly thru cuz’ it’s absolutely repulsive and awesome. So far it’s had vampires, old western dudes, angels, demons, God, sex, drugs, booze and everything in between. Not bad. And Sam Mendes, director of American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead and; Revolutionary Road is signed on to direct the movie adaptation of the graphic novel.

You thought Christopher Nolan did well with Batman??? Wait til’ you see this. If everything follows throughu,This movie could turn out amazing.

Here is the new Photo of the week, titled “Jack of the Giants”.

I guess the title plays off the Jack and the Beanstalk tale, except here Jack is one of the Giants because, well…he’s giant. And he eats a lot of mac & cheese.

On New Years Day me and “The Giant” spent the morning watching Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back) and I found that Jack’s training in the ways of the force have been extremely effective. When Darth Vader arrived on screen, Jack said “Uh-Oh”. And when Vader used the force choke on one of his coworkers (they work together, right?), Jack reluctantly announced “Bye Bye”.

Astonishing.
