Photo of the Week – “Schroeder”
This is Schroeder, my new toy. He’s a baby grand piano, approximately 20 inches tall, about 24 wide.
I miraculously found it on Craigslist for cheap, and after a little more research I found that the little guy retails around 250. And yes…it does play, and beautifully at that. The lady I bought it from claimed she didn’t want it because it was too big. What? Too big!! Crazy witch.
So why name the piano Schroeder? Some of you might know, but maybe not. Schroeder is spectacular piano player on Peanuts. He plays the theme song, obseeses over Beethoven, and is one of Charlie Brown’s close friends.
It seems appropriate, no?
More on Schroeder coming soon, and I’m thinking maybe a little music video would be appropriate.
