I’ve been slacking on my blog postings…please do accept my apologies. You will notice that I’ve kept my promise with posting 2 bowtastic photos each week. Which means, of course, you’ll see another photo sometime today.

I’ve been awful busy readying myself for the DMB trip to the Gorge, while trying to watch an episode of Dexter (season 2) every now and again. I love you Dexter. Anywho, I’m also still reading Watchmen…not very fast, but nonetheless, still reading it. I’m assuming it will be finished this weekend while sitting in a motorhome with 12 others for many many hours.

I am currently halfway through the 416 page graphic novel and am absolutely thrilled with it thus far. Each turn of the page throws you deeper into the fucked up lives of the superhero characters and keeps you wanting, even begging, for more.

The Watchmen movie is due out March 2009. If the movie happens, I’m going to go ahead and make some unusual predictions. Watchmen will easily be the top-grossing film ever for the month of March (currently it’s the movie 300). And Watchmen could be one of the top-grossing films of 2009 (a difficult feat with a March opening). I say “If the movie happens” because there is currently some serious disputes between Warner Bros. and Fox. Warner Bros. mad the movie, while Fox seems to think they have the rights to it. And fans, who are unbelievably pissed that Fox waited so long to make their claim to the rights to the movie, are attempting to boycott Fox’s Woverine movie if Fox doesn’t backoff.

Kinda interesting, right? If you don’t think so, maybe you haven’t seen the trailer to Watchmen. So here it is:
